New Puerto Rico Internal Revenue Code Effective Tax Year Beginning January 1, 2011

The Puerto Rico Internal Revenue Code of 1994 was repealed and replaced with a new code.  There are many changes that impact employer sponsored retirement plans in the new code and some changes to all existing plans are required.

Required and optional changes need special attention, thoughtful planning and precision execution.  Please contact me for professional assistance.  For legal advice however, you are urged to contact legal counsel.  SGP Consultants and Steven Goldberg are not licensed to practice law.

If you would like to discuss the new tax code or if you need assistance in implementing plan changes please contact Steven Goldberg at 787 310-3035.

You can access the new tax code at the following URL.
