Communications
The key to success for any benefits program is a poignant and easily understood communications program that provides guidance, disclosure, facts, requirements, obligations and caveats to participants.

Retirement plans are sometimes the most difficult benefits for employees to understand and some of them require that employees make important decisions that will affect their current income, taxes and future prosperity.
At SGP Consultants we know retirement plans better than anything else. We understand how employees perceive them, the hardest components to grasp, the enormous impact that they can have on the future of employees, and we know the critical obligations that employers have in communicating timely, accurately and completely.
Our communications are tailored to the environments for which they are designed and the employees to whom they are directed whether in English or Spanish.
General Participant Communications
SGP Consultants develops and writes content for:
· Savings and Benefit Illustrations
· Flyers and Announcements
· Enrollment, Loan, Hardship Withdrawal, Final Distribution and Change Forms
· Enrollment Kits
· Summary Plan Descriptions
· Employee Presentations
We also produce materials working with professional graphic artists and printers.
Analytic Technical Communications
Sometimes technical quantitative analysis is required for certain participant and plan sponsor communications, and SGP Consultants does the quantitative work and designs custom individualized analysis for plan participants and management. Examples of these are:
· Individualized benefits projection statements
· Benefit calculators
· Savings, benefit and tax illustrations
· Specialized analysis for future benefit scenarios
Employee Presentations, Round Tables, Specialized On-Site Communications
Often times the distribution of printed materials or electronic announcements or document attachments are not adequate. Nothing can completely replace the effectiveness of in-person delivery of information or an active discussion on a benefit or a particular benefit change or sensitive issue. SGP Consultants will:
· Develop and deliver employee presentations for enrollment, announcing changes and benefits refreshers
· Prepare and lead management round table discussions related to retirement plan issues
· Plan and facilitate employee meetings to address specialized or sensitive problems that need to be resolved effectively with the leadership of experienced technical experts.
